The Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency is completing an audit to assess the current practice of Catholic Dioceses’ and Religious Life Groups (RLGs) in England and Wales in engaging with and supporting survivors of abuse.
The purpose of this public call is to invite information from anyone who has had recent contact with a Diocese or Religious Life Group (RLG). This includes experiences that are new, ongoing, or connected to non-recent abuse. Although our assessment looks at the period from July 2024, we do not wish to limit what you choose to share. This information will support our assessment of the effectiveness of current safeguarding arrangements and contribute to the prevention of abuse. Whatever you tell us will help inform our conclusions about safeguarding today. We will let you know exactly how we will manage the information you give us.
