Calix is for recovering alcoholics/addicts who want to draw on their Catholic faith as a sure path to serenity without alcohol. It offers a Catholic ministry to addicts in recovery and their families, deepening faith and sharing the healing mercy of God. Calix embodies the Catholic Church’s growing emphasis on the “New Evangelization” as encouraged by His Holiness Pope Francis.
Our Calix meetings have continued through the pandemic on Zoom 7-30pm every second and last Monday of each month except for Bank Holidays. We have also recently introduced another meeting on the first Wednesday of the month at 1-30pm and from April the Wednesday meetings will include a new one on the third Wednesday of the month again at 1-30pm. We also have a WhatsApp group where prayers and support are shared.
