On September 23rd, twenty-one mothers attended an afternoon of prayer and spiritual renewal at Mother of God Parish Centre, Sheffield. Mothers travelled from Leeds, Derby and Chesterfield to join those from Mother of God and Our Lady and St Thomas’ parishes. The event was led by Maureen Goldsmith, National Co-ordinator for Mothers Prayers – a worldwide organisation for mothers of all ages to come together in spiritual unity to pray for the needs of their children and grandchildren.Mothers’ Prayers
