As part of St. Vincent’s quest for the Parish to achieve the Cafod ‘Live Simply’ award, children in Year 3 at St. Marie’s school took part in a ‘Live Simply’ logo competition. Ann Burke from St. Vincent’s Parish showed the class the Cafod ‘Live Simply’ video. The children were already very knowledgeable about ways we can all care more for our beautiful planet and quickly grasped the main objectives of living more simply. It was clear from the ‘logo entries’ that lots of thought and care went into their work. It was difficult to choose an overall ‘winner’. The one that was chosen was by Freya, seen in the photo with her fairtrade easter egg prize.
