You are warmly invited to the launch webinar for the Jubilee Garden Project, taking place online on Tuesday 1 September at 8pm.
Looking ahead to the Season of Creation and towards the Jubilee Year of Redemption in 2033, the Jubilee Garden Project offers parishes, schools, religious communities and individuals an opportunity to continue the pilgrimage together building community through the care and renewal of our shared spaces.
The project invites us to use physical spaces to heal, transform and renew. Inspired by Mary, Lazarus and Martha of Bethany in John 11–12, the three patrons of the project represent the theological virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity.
A Jubilee Garden brings these virtues to life through practical care for the garden, helping us to rebuild our communion with God, our neighbours and the earth. As we tend the garden, we are also invited to reflect on the care and commitment needed to nurture our communities and our own faith journeys.
The launch is being held in partnership with The God Who Speaks, an initiative of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales. All are welcome.

Preparing the Ground
Following the launch, there will be two online group sessions on Thursday 10 September, at 1pm and 7pm. Both sessions will follow the same format and will provide an opportunity to explore what a Jubilee Garden could look like in different settings.
Participants will be able to join breakout groups focusing on parishes, homes, religious communities and schools, helping to shape a more detailed vision for the project.
