As Advent approaches, the Bernardines of Esquermes invite you to take time away from the busyness of everyday life and prepare for Christmas through prayer, silence and reflection.
The Bernardines are a community of Cistercian nuns who follow the Rule of St Benedict, seeking God through a life of prayer, simplicity and community. Their ministry has traditionally included education and hospitality.
This year’s Advent Retreat, led by Fr. Anthony and the sisters, will be held at the peaceful Monastery of Our Lady of Hyning.
