What Good News Day: Catholic Teaching in the World of AI

How should we understand artificial intelligence in the light of Catholic teaching?
Join us for What Good News Day as Fr Hugh MacKenzie explores the opportunities and challenges AI presents for humanity, faith and human dignity.
In his recent encyclical Magnifica Humanitas, Pope Leo writes:
“In the era of artificial intelligence, when human dignity is threatened by new forms of dehumanization, ours is the pressing duty to remain profoundly human.”
Fr Hugh MacKenzie is a priest of the Diocese of Westminster and chaplain at Westminster Cathedral. He holds an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and serves as chaplain at St John’s Hospice and to the Cathedral Choir School.
