Residents in Cantley are benefiting from the recent expansion of the Neighbourhood Centre at St Wilfrid’s Court, which now offers enhanced facilities for community activities, support services and social events.
The centre celebrated the opening of its newly refurbished café on 3rd June with a lively event featuring performances from dance groups who are member of St Paul’s Parish. The café, along with the rest of the centre, is open from 10am to 2pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
For over a decade, the Neighbourhood Centre has been at the heart of the local community, providing a welcoming place for people to meet, seek advice on wellbeing and housing, and access practical support through its community food and clothing shop. The expansion will enable the centre to continue growing its services and supporting even more local residents. Arthi Fernando
