We are happy to announce that the Diocese of Hallam has achieved an overall grading of Achieving Results, which is a great testament to the hard work carried out in implementing the recommendations from the Pilot Audit that took place in June of 2022, as well as continued work on the Committee’s Safeguarding Action Plan. Our previous grading was ‘Early progress’ We are delighted with the increase in our grading.
The Diocese is committed to reviewing the recommendations of the most recent audit and bringing these into our ongoing developmental Action Plan, working with everyone in the Diocese to achieve success in the implementation of further development of safeguarding practice within the Diocese.

Safeguarding truly is shared amongst everyone in the Diocese, and when all parts are working together, we move forwards as one body. Everybody’s individual contribution provides the backbone to effective practice as a whole Diocese and in this, we strive to be Christ-like, as one body operating in Safeguarding ministry.
