Dementia Awareness Day

Following on from last year’s event on Mental Health Awareness the theme this year will focus
on Dementia. The day will provide an overview of the types of dementia, early signs and
symptoms, diagnosis and treatment, how to care/support those suffering with dementia and
possible risk and prevention factors.
Our guest speakers for the day include:
 Paul Green – Carer Liaison Nurse – Sheffield Memory Service
 Rebecca Bool – Dementia Friends Trainer
 Dr. Adrian Treloar – Catholic Medical Association

The event is open to all Clergy, Safeguarding Representatives
