Early intervention in safeguarding (often referred to as early help) is the process of providing timely, targeted support to children, young people and families when problems first arise, before they escalate into severe crises or significant harm.
The Diocese of Hallam safeguarding team collaborates with several support organisations, which include internal Diocesan Projects whom you will hear from on the day. By working together, we provide help to those experiencing harm or abuse, homelessness, loneliness or social isolation.
Presentations/Speakers include:
Caritas (formerly Hallam Caring Services)
St. Wilfrid’s Centre
Carmel Care Centre
St. Vincent’s Mission Hub
Hallam Youth Ministry
Welfare Support for Retired Clergy
The event is open to all Clergy, Safeguarding Representatives Parishioners and Volunteers
Refreshments and a free lunch will be provided
To book a place on the event please contact Jo. Pearson on 0114 2566453 or by email: jpearson@hallam-diocese.com
We look forward to seeing you there
