Hallam Youth – On our way to Calais

We’re on our way to learn and volunteer with refugee projects in Calais, as part of a collaborative project run by the Diocese of Hallam and the Columban Missionaries.

Thanks so much for donations of warm clothing, St Anne’s, St John Fisher, The Abbey, Jane and friends, and UCM Hallam.

Thank you St Thomas Aquinas for your minibus, St Dunstan’s for Mr Tehan (our driver) and Mrs Baker, and Bishop Challoner for Mrs Healy.

The group is made up of 6 young people and 6 educators. We will be visiting Secours Catholique (Caritas France) and volunteering with  Care4Calais.

On the way back we will be debriefing at Aylesford Priory with the help of the Carmelites.

Please keep us in your prayers.
