The 2024 Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes, led by Bishop Ralph, will take place from Friday 28th June to Thursday 4th July. Direct flight from Leeds Bradford Airport to Lourdes and return, 6 nights’ Full Board The fare is £879 (sharing a room). A limited number of single rooms are available at a supplement. Travel is by charter flight with arrangements made to help people with reduced mobility/medical needs.

There is also short video from the tour of St Bernadette’s Relics of Great Britain in 2022 which is a good introduction to the idea of going on pilgrimage to Lourdes.
Applications are welcome from Assisted Pilgrims, i.e. those who need some form of support from the medical team or volunteer Helpers, e.g. due to mobility or health issues. Applications are also very welcome from doctors, nurses and volunteer Helpers to join our dedicated team (subject to an enhanced DBS check and references). Young people from around the diocese in years 10-13 will travel as part of the pilgrimage. Details are available from school staff in each diocesan High School. Young people aged 16-18 not attending a diocesan High School, please contact Sue McDonald – [email protected].
