1. Faith, Education, and the Ecological Crisis: An Online Symposium

The ‘Laudato Si’ Champions’ project (which, in a nutshell, is the education workstream of the Guardians of Creation project), is holding an online symposium on 14 July on Faith, Education and the Ecological Crisis and everyone is welcome to join.

This is a virtual symposium which asks how we can empower our young people to take action and become the ecological citizens of the future?

This symposium brings together voices from across the education sector, including teachers, educators, and academics, to explore the themes of education, faith, and ecology. Join us as we share new ideas, lived experiences, and innovative research about climate education in an exciting evening of talks and presentations.

More information on the event can be found here.

These are voices of those who suffer the impacts of climate change. These are voices of people who hold generational wisdom about how to live gratefully within the limits of the land. These are voices of a diminishing diversity of more-than-human species. It is the voice of the Earth.
