Becoming Synodal- Retreat at Home

The Diocese is inviting every parish to a “retreat at home” on becoming synodal. This retreat is designed to introduce the practice of synodality, and uses the April 2022 diocesan syntheses report which reflected the reports from each parish. Material is available on understanding what it means to be synodal and then applies that to the different themes in the report. It is an ideal way to prepare for the second part of the Synod in October 2024.

The retreat was trialled in St Patrick’s and St Catherine’s parish and will be reported in the January edition of the Hallam Bridge. On the morning of the 3rd of February a taster session at the Pastoral Centre will be held for those who are interested in running the retreat in their parish situation. Andrew Crowley
