In this Year of St Mark, according to the lectionary readings, how would you like to have access to a FREE resource on the “Greatest Story Ever Told’”? One that will no doubt inform you and provoke entertaining and enlightening discussions.
Over the past couple of years, biblical storyteller, Stefan Smart, and chat-show host, David Payne, have put together a whole series of podcasts based on Mark’s Gospel called Question MARK: The Podcast.
Each pod takes a fresh look at a particular episode in Mark, such as the Storm at Sea and the Feeding of the 5000, asking what it might have meant to its first hearers and how it relates to our lives today. All our conversations are based on real-life questions from our listeners, and members of the Question MARK Facebook group (see link below). And we’ve had a variety of special guests on the show, from all backgrounds and walks of life – including some of the world’s leading Markan experts and Christian speakers, like Rowan Williams, Pete Greig, Brad Jersak, Ched Myers, J. Daniel Kirk, John Burnett, Shane Claiborne, Richard Hays, William P. Young, Paula Gooder, Lucy Peppiatt and many more.
It’s been a lot of fun, as well as profoundly moving, making this podcast and we would love it if you were able to listen in sometime!
Question MARK: The Podcast can be found right NOW on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube as well as on the I AM MARK website. Feel free to join in the conversation by becoming part of the growing Question MARK Facebook Community. See links below.
Revive the I am MARK performance we had at St Marie’s Cathedral
It is well worth spending sometime watching it. You can almost imagine what it was like hearing mark’s Gospel for the first time.
