THREE HOMILIES ON THE SYNODAL JOURNEY

As we move beyond the regional phase of this synod. These homilies encourage us to think and reflect as we continue to walk the synodal journey together.

Homily preached by Archbishop John Wilson at the Mass on the National Synod Day (1st June) in Southwark Cathedral

Homily preached by Cardinal Nichols at Westminster Cathedral following the bishops’ discussions, and celebrating the Solemnity of St Peter and St Paul.

Homily preached by the Holy Father, Pope Francis, at the Basilica of St Peter on 29th of June 2022, when he blessed the new pallia for the Metropolitan Archbishops.

Please continue to pray for the synodal path as it moves into its regional phase for the Universal Church, and the continued reflection on the themes that the work has brought to the fore with regard to the mission of the Church in our own dioceses, national organisations and parishes.
