- Holy Land Pilgrimage, 19th to 26th November 2017
Diocese of Hallam Pilgrimage to the Holy Land led by Bishop Ralph Heskett CSsR - 19th to 26th November 2017.
The Pilgrimage will visit all the major religious sites including; The Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth, En Karim where our Blessed Lady visited St Elizabeth, The Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, The Shepherds Fields in Beit Sahour, Capernaum home of St Peter and The Church of the Beatitudes. Take a boat on the sea of Galilee, follow the Via Dolorosa and see Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane, Calvary and the restored Holy Sepulchre of Our Lord.
The Edicule of the Tomb has undergone a nine month restoration programme, the 'first time in two centuries that the sacred edicule has been restored'.
We will share Mass with local Christians in their churches and experience their appreciation of our support in coming to visit them and the warmth of their welcome.
