The Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle Formation and Mission Team recently hosted a webinar entitled ‘Pilgrimage: Hearts in Search of God’. This webinar considered a brief overview of the history and significance of pilgrimage; provided insight into the national Pilgrim Ways project and its special Jubilee Year event; offered ‘real-life’ experiences of pilgrims within their diocese and highlighted some local and budget-friendly options for pilgrimage.
