Saturday 25th February, 10am-4pm, Sheffield City Centre
An exciting one-day ecumenical conference responding to Pope Francis’ Encyclical Laudato Si and exploring the issues of environmental justice, integral ecology and how we can respond at a local level. This is a day for everyone and embraces global issues, local action, a spirituality of care and living simply, and the chance for conversation, questions and sharing.
The day features two outstanding and inspiring speakers: Ellen Teague (Columban Missionaries) and Ruth Valerio ( A Rocha, Tear Fund). There will also be input from local initiatives including the Eco-Church and Live Simply programmes.
Admission is free, but booking is strongly recommended:
