‘I have lived a life basking in the love of God.’
‘Louise Knight was an amazing lady and an inspiration, entering the Knight Family 12 years ago. In late 2013 Louise was diagnosed with breast cancer, the doctor’s were very positive and after a long battle in early 2015 she was told she was in remission. Louise and her step-daughter Ellie both took part in a cancer research run in July 2015, celebrating her recovery and strength. Unfortunately in August 2015 the cancer returned and had now attacked her lungs, liver and kidneys. This is where Louise’s faith shone through. She never complained, moaned, got angry or showed that she was ever in pain. She battled and was determined for cancer to not destroy her or her family’s faith and lives. Sadly she lost her battle on Christmas Eve 2015. However the legacy she has left behind and the footprint on people’s lives will live on forever. Her final prayer to her five children sums up what an amazing lady she really was, I was privileged to know her and celebrate her life in such an amazing and faithful way.
May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let his presence settle into your bones and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of you. ‘ Jade King, family friend.
